Have you ever noticed how difficult it is to start something new? The concept of doing something new is not hard. You get a thought in your head "Hey! Maybe I should try THIS." It seems like a good idea. However, most people think it best to mull an idea over before acting upon it. A wise decision. Also a moment of natural selection, in a sense. Most people mull it over for years before acting upon their idea. I, however, mulled it over for a week. After that, I felt that enough time had passed for me to act on my idea. The idea was simple: write a blog. On what? I've no idea. If you couldn't tell from what my blog is called (Running Between the Raindrops) I tend to jump between the hurdles of my life, and some of them are large, and like a lot of storms, very messy. Often, during my running I tend to lack direction, and more often than not, become lost amongst the chaos. I hope it will not happen with this blog. I'm hoping this will develop into a pleasant morning read with a cup of coffee, while one is killing time before starting work, or perhaps looking for something to inspire them before the day begins. Whatever this blog will develop into for anyone, I hope above all else that it is thought provoking.
So what, if anything, can you, my dear sweet readers, do to participate. Well, firstly, comment, comment, comment. Oh, and lastly, comment. Your feedback will provide some valuable discussions, and can help me curb some of the topics of the blog. Secondly, recommend topics and ask questions for me to answer and write about. I'm not an all knowing, all seeing mystic, however, I have a wealth of personal experience to pull wisdom from. If you don't think so, then don't read the blog. Either way, I'm looking forward to what will come next.
PS- My biggest motivation came from reading TheCelticStorm blog. Peruse one of the best blogs on the web!
It's hardly one of the best blogs on the web. It IS the best blog on the web.
ReplyDeleteAlways the humble one, I see.
